random stuff.

So.
The other night my mother stayed at a friend's house.
She asked if I would stay at my dad's.
I said I would prefer to stay alone.
All the lights are off.
I'm watching The Green Mile.
A killer is talking.
A close-up of his face on screen.
I paused the movie to take a break, noticing the killer's eyes.
They were closed.
I start towards the stairs and notice that the man's eyes are now open.
This obviously freaked me out.
I screamed bloody murder while jumping on the couch.
I throw the remote while I continue to scream.
I notice that I have just thrown the only way to make it stop without being on the ground where things can get me (I have weird thoughts when I'm alone and freaked out), so I rush to it.
I grab it, and push pause once again.
Apparently I had bumped it on my way upstairs.
I pushed a button that made it do a slow-motion rewind.
It was probably the scariest thing in the world.
Cuz it was like midnight.
And I was alone.
In a dark house.
Watching a movie about people who kill other people.
Ahh.
I figured you could get a laugh through my, umm, screams.
Yeah.
Hope you enjoyed it.

Yeah. Not much has happened lately. Well, alot has happened. Alot of it having to do with babies.
All are good things. Congrats to everyone :)
And I found out I get to be in a wedding in the spring.......if you catch my drift.
And I got my schedule. I guess I could post that for you to look at.
Oh yeah. And me and Jennie both have lockers in the freshman hall. Which is the worst news ever.
We're gonna try and find a different locker. Upstairs. In the land of the cool people.
Anywho. Here's the schedule.

Have a happy day.

free

He's innocent! I pretty much had that figured out.
Any theories as to why he admitted to a crime which he did not commit?

My guess is to get back to America. He wanted to get outta Thailand so he needed an excuse to come here. Eh?

Also, I would like to wish a very happy birthday to my good friend Bobbie Jo! Love ya girl!

toes and birthdays

Well, I don't really have much to say. Except that my new purdy shoes are giving me massive blisters on my toes. And it hurts. But I can't bring myself to not wear them because they're just so pretty.

Oh yeah. One more thing. Two, actually.

To the best sister (and friend) in the whole wide world:
HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY.
Thanks for always being there for me!
You are the coolest person I know!
You have inspired me in many ways, whether it be bands, food, or -cough- boys,
I have always wanted to be like you!
I LOVE YOU LIKE THE DAY IS LONG!

To the one with really cool hair:
HAPPY 16th BIRTHDAY, IAN.
You're cool. I love you, too.

camp confusion

Hello, everyone.
I bet you noticed that I am posting today, which I shouldn't be. Because right now we would be leaving the best place on earth and arriving around 5pm, which means the library is closed and I wouldn't be posting on my blog until Monday. So, why am I posting, then? Well, that is the topic of this post.
Camp was great! The services were awesome as usual, and God did some major repair in my brain that some certain people have damaged (it is none of you, I assure it). It's always nice to get away from everyone for a whole week. It was probably late Monday or Tuesday that some people starting getting sick. The nurse called it diavomarheea, which is both of those things mixed together. Dozens of kids were getting sick and no one knew why. I went to choir Wednesday night and following was prayer, I was going to follow Nat, Jenn, and Chelsea in there, but I felt as if I was going to pass out. I went out and got some air and got no better. During service my stomach hurt terribly and I just started crying, so Natalie brought me half way to the nurse and we saw Mike who brought me the rest of the way. I had no signs for awhile, but they came shortly after I layed on the couch near the nurse. I was sent to my room, and later on someone else got sick in our room that night (good thing we had a garbage). The state came to check things out, and it turns out that the camp was contaminated with something called the Noro virus, which is pretty much the stomach flu, except you get it by direct contact of vomit or...other stuff. As of yesterday morning, we were the smallest of four outbreaks in Minnesota and by mid-day yesterday, we were the largest. We were happy about that. Probably about half the camp was sick. We were all forced to go home a day early, the "sick" kids riding with other "sick" kids, and "healthy" kids riding with other "healthy" kids, even though all are contaminated. That was an interesting ride home. Luckily, I wasn't the only Hibbing person. So, that's why I'm home early. Sounds like something that should be on the X-Files, right? We didn't get to find out which team won (GO ALOHA AIRLINS. TEAM TWO IS BETTER THAN YOU.) or we didn't get to see the camp video. This was a week of firsts at Lake Geneva Bible camp. Oh yeah, and we have a coffee shop. Sweet.

A happier camp post coming soon.
