Dearest Jack,
I have been hearing you and your father saying some nasty things, such as "..that's why the Sox will never win the World Series." Well, I'm sorry Mr. Hotbod Handsomeface, the White Sox WON the Series yesterday, after the longest game in Series history... and it was their first win since the middle of WWI - 1917. But it's not like YOU would know that, since you're on a deserted island in the middle of the Pacific. So, I thought I would write you this friendly note to let you know. And, your father can't contact you because he's dead, and if he were alive, he wouldn't be able to freakin' tell you anyways because YOU'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. GAUL DANGIT! But I love that you're in the middle of nowhere. If you weren't, I would have nothing to look forward to on Wednesday nights besides church. Thank you. Thank you very much.

Love,
a Lost junkie

GOOD LUCK BLUEJACKET FOOTBALL!!! BEAT DENFELD DEAD!!!

Hello reader! My apologies for not posting more frequently, but I have been quite busy with the play, homework, and most importantly.. MYC!

About the last one, it was a blast! I was in a room with Jess, Jenn, and Natalie, and boy was that interesting! On Thursday, we went to service and stayed for the Grits concert, which was awesome! We danced.. ALOT. After the concert, we went back to the hotel and the girls had a popcorn party and talked about the usual girly-like stuff. We went to bed. Blah, blah, blah. I went to breakfast with Jenn and we went back to our room, started flipping through the channels, and we watched the ending of the Doodlebops! I can't remember what happened after that. We went to service or something. Then we did other stuff. Then went to service again, then went back to the hotel and some of us went to Perkins. Interesting stuff happened there. Uhh, then we came back to the hotel and went to bed, woke up, got ready & packed up the room, then went to the MOA. That was pretty boring, nothing too exciting happened. Then we went on the bus and rode back. I hit my head twice on the trip. Well, someone smacked my head against the side of the TV once and I was laying in the middle of the aisle and i just hit it on the bottom of the chair. Err, yeah. My brain is dead. Sorry. On Sunday after church, Chelsea had some people over and we had an excellent lunch and we watched the football game. Afterwards, Dave, Jac, Natalie, Kari, Jenn, and I drove to Grand Rapids to meet up with the Willy's and Ian to watch Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Ware Rabbit.. It was a great movie! Some, well, WEIRD parts, but it was great. And yesterday, I had surgery on my toe. I had an ingrown toenail for 6 months and it was highly infected, and they removed part of my nail permanently (it was so small it won't even be noticeable, less than 1 millimeter) but they took out half an inch of a nail because it was ingrown that much. SICK. I had to get 5 shots in the toe and now I have a bandage bigger than my head on it. I have a limp and.. yeah. I hope it heals soon. My mom said I was bawling in my sleep last night cuz it hurt so bad. That would explain my stuffed up nose today. Sad.

The Holy Ghost will take the CHICKEN outta you!

Thursday, October 13, 2005

I realize that I have been a jerk lately. But as Dave told me, only others can determine whether or not you're being a jerk, or any other noun-like adjective. But, in my opinion, I have been a jerk lately. I just try to get back at people, because people frequently "burn" me and I just don't want to be sitting there like a doofus and just take it, I want revenge! So I just say something equally stupid back. That hasn't been the case, I've actually been MEAN about it. Someone help me.

Also, a very merry 64th birthday to you.

Well, I know you have all heard about what I did over the weekend, through other people's blogs, their mouths, or my own mouth. But, I've decided to post about it anyways. Why? 'cuz I feel like it.

Well, we headed down to the Cities about 4 and arrived around 7. The boys put their crap in Craig/Opey's dorm and I put mine in Ruth's. We decided that because of the temperature and the walking distance from NCU to Club 3 Degrees, that we would take the newly installed light rail, which cost $.50 to go downtown, but I got a ticket for $.25, sweet! Anywho, moving along. We got out wristbands (which I am still wearing) then went in.. it was packed! We went to the balcony, hoping to find a spot. Nothing. I didn't want to go by the stage because I figured there was moshing, and wherever there is moshing there is a girl named Brooke Devine getting crushed, and I didn't want to go through that again, so I stayed there. Amber and I decided to find a different spot, and we did. I could see if I stood on my tiptoes and looked between heads, but Goliath decided to keep moving from leg to leg so I had to move along with him and it was frustrating. ANYWAYS. Hawk Nelson came on, each member wearing a letter, spelling out HAWK. They sang some songs (well, duh) and a new one, from their new movie (IMAGINE THAT!) "Yours, Mine, and Ours", and their new song was cool, even though I didn't know what the flip he was saying. The movie comes out in November, and I am definitely going to see it! TFK came on, and they were pretty cool, even though the guy was slurring his words together and I could only hear him during "Rawkfist" (shudder), and during the other songs, I heard the guys behind me more than I could the guy. Oh well, they were still cool. Amber and I decided to get some water so we went to the "bar" and got some, then went outside. There were some homeless people around asking for money, which is sad, and we walked by a few clubs. Yeah, not cool. Did they HAVE to install a window? SERIOUSLY! Saw some people pass out, which is not surprising in a big city on a Friday night. We went to Denny's, and boy what an experience that was! And on the way there, we discovered that yawns ARE catchy! We returned to NCU and went to bed, I woke up to watch part of Craig's football game then Dave, Chris, Kranny, Mike, Ryan, and I decided to walk around trying to find a Caribou. And we found two that were both closed. So we went to Starsucks instead. We returned and watch the remainder of Ruth's game, went to Chipotle, then drove home. Oh, how lovely that concert was.

Oh yeah, and Jason has the same shoes as me. Teehee.

ATTENTION!

ATTENTION!!!
If you want to step on my foot for some bizarre reason, please, don't step on the one that has been infected for months! Gracias!

Sorry, I thought I would make that clear to everyone, since people like stepping on my left foot. Why not the other one? Gosh!
I'm in school, I'm suppossed to be doing research on Simon & Garfunkel, but I'm not, I'm posting. I'm a slacker. I was planning on going to Reid's last football game this Friday, but something came up. So, Reid, I know you'll never read this, but good luck!

to my friends

If one day you feel like crying...
Call me.
I don't promise that I will make you laugh,
But I can cry with you

If one day you want to run away--
Don't be afraid to call me.
I don't promise to ask you to stop...
But I can run with you

If one day you don't want to listen
to anyone...
Call me.
I promise to be there for you.
And I promise to be very quiet

But if one day you call...
And there is no answer...
Come fast to see me.
Perhaps I need you.

WANTED : Opinions/Suggestions

Alright ya'll, I need your opinions. Do you think I should change my blog template to a custom made one made by my sister, such as this one, or should I keep it as is? Also, I've been thinking of changing the title of my blog, any suggestions? I want it to describe the blogger, but I want it to be on a more positive note, and simply originial. Help?
